Zoo Derby is the first real-time, multiplayer social game that lets you race zoo animals, play slots, help rebuild a Zoo, and bet on races! Zoo Derby combines the thrill of racing games with the engaging amusement of slot machines – all within a socially-driven and beautifully-designed environment. The game had more than 50k races from its target demographic in its first few weeks!
The Microsoft BUILD conference in Anaheim, California is where Microsoft shows off it's latest and greatest. So what did Microsoft choose to showcase in their keynote item? GAMEized's latest game of course! GAMEized was selected from many top development firms to develop both the iOS and Windows Phone 7 versions of Tankster by Gskinner. Tankster brings a new frontier of engagement to gaming. Players can invite their friends and play the same game across multiple devices, taking it in turns to shoot missiles at each others tanks. It's like a multi-player Angry Birds.
Sports fans obviously LOVE games! So what better than to make a game of their favorite sport? GAMEized did it with FingerKicks and it's already a success. Released on all iOS platforms (iPod, iPhone and iPad), FingerKicks is making the web move and generating a lot of buzz... Just what we intended! :)
How does an event become sellout in a matter of days and get people talking about it? GAMEized makes it simple. MochiMedia selected X-Team to design an addictive game which would get people to sign-up to the real world Flash Gaming Summit in San Francisco. By using the Doodle Jump engine, X-Team used the MochiMedia brand and characters to create an addictive game. By playing the game, people found out more about the event as they played by meeting key speakers along the way. If they could meet all the speakers they were rewarded with a 15% discount on tickets. The result? We're already planning the next game for 2012!
New TV shows come out all the time... How does a major TV network like FOX brings awareness to new ones? GAMEized can help! FOX identified the need for a custom game engine which was based around quizzes. After defining what they needed they turned to GAMEized to create a custom game engine. This engine was created so it could be used with various TV shows from The Simpsons to Glee, so had a lot of value with it's reuse. A major component of the engine was tapping into Facebook and the social network. The result? The Quiz Engine has become an ongoing project due to it's high success.
Andy is a dog lover in Melbourne who rescued a beautiful Alaskan Malamute Miley from the proud where she would have been put down. Sadly many people but Malamute's but find they don't train them properly and they end up in the pound. To raise awareness and education on Malamute's and to generate a second income Andy worked with the X-Team to develop an addictive game using the Catcher Engine. The result? Miley's Loot reached New and Noteworthy on the Apple Store and Miley's got plenty of real world bones to celebrate. A second version is underway.
